Performing the speech entitled “An Unbelievable Story,” Aaron provided a humorous take on the heavy subject of race and the importance of “acceptance despite difference.” That speech won him the prestigious title of World Champion of Public Speaking.

Empowering Leaders Worldwide

Toastmasters began in 1924, founded by Ralph C. Smedley to help people improve their public speaking and leadership skills. District 60 was officially formed in 1958, serving Toronto and surrounding regions. It has hosted four International Conventions in Toronto (1967, 1977, 1993, and 2005) and has been a cornerstone of personal development in the GTA for decades.

District 60 continues to empower thousands of members across Ontario, fostering a vibrant community of communicators and leaders
